The club won the Premier League title in 2026/27 after a 20-year wait and Arsenal have gone into the season defending the Premier League title, so there was no single campaign theme for the three kits, they were all based on moments from the club’s history.
The home kit is celebrating 20 years at Emirates Stadium. The away is a return to the early 90s Bruised Banana. The third one is the yellow and the lightning bolt. Three different times, three different design languages.
Emirates continues to sponsor the front of the shirt and Deel is on the sleeve.
The 2026/27 home kit: twenty years at the Emirates
The home kit, which will be released in May 2026, is a classic on the surface and is doing more than it seems.
It’s a red jersey with white sleeves, the look that Arsenal have been sporting for a century. The depth of the design is new, with Adidas incorporating two shades of red to give texture to the design with a darker burgundy colour used on the collar, cuffs and the middle Adidas stripe.
The story of the shirt is in the detail of the collar. It’s a custom-made crewneck with a wavy zig-zag design inspired by the sweeping rooflines of Emirates Stadium, with the design also being used on the sleeve cuffs. It’s completed with white shorts with red accents and red socks.
The pattern of the collar is the one to look for in a file. The collar and cuffs are dealt with separately on a Dream League Soccer template. A file with the wave on the body, but a plain collar has been constructed in a hasty manner, and is an easy way to tell if it is a low-effort copy.
The 2026/27 away kit: the Bruised Banana in reverse
This is the shirt that attracted the attention and was unveiled on 24 July 2026.
The Bruised Banana, the 1991-93 away kit of Arsenal, is one of the most recognisable football shirts of all time. Adidas have come back to it many times, but this time, it’s a different version – it inverts the palette. The 2026/27 shirt is based on a navy base with the same angular geometric graphic in navy shades, but the 2026/27 shirt is yellow with navy zig-zags.
The collar is a Trefoil crew-neck with red and yellow accents, the shirt features the Adidas Trefoil logo and not the performance mark, which is opposite the club crest. The red and yellow details of the shorts and socks are the same as those of the navy.
Ian Wright was joined at the launch campaign by Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori, Chloe Kelly and Little Simz, who were all there to share their story.
The zig-zag is angular and it spans the entire body, so it crosses between template regions. If the pattern is broken or changed direction at a seam in your player model, the file was created using a different pattern.
The 2026/27 third kit: yellow returns, and so does the lightning
The third shirt will be released on 3 August 2026, and will feature yellow for the first time in five seasons for Arsenal.
The base is a light yellow color with navy blue logos, trim and graphics. The subtle lightning bolt pattern runs across the body, and has real history at the club as it was first introduced on the 1994-95 away shirt by Nike, and has been seen again on the 2021-22 third and the 2024-25 away. The lightning goes on to the shorts, which are navy and also have an alternate yellow color.
The important thing to note for those who are constructing this in Dream League Soccer is on the chest. This shirt does NOT feature the complete Arsenal crest. The minimalist cannon is now in its place, without the circular shield or the club name.
Which crest goes with which kit
It’s more important for Arsenal this season than for almost any other club and it’s not mentioned by any other guide.
Your badge will be stored separately from your kits in Dream League Soccer, and will display the same badge on any shirt you wear. So you’ll need to choose one.
When wearing the home or away shirt, the entire cannon crest is acceptable. That’s what is written on the actual shirts.
The cannon-only emblem is the correct one for the third kit. The full circular crest is combined with the third shirt, which is something that you’ll notice once you see it.
The cannon-only version has a practical advantage. In the match display, beside the score, Dream League Soccer crops each badge into a circle, and renders it very small. The word ARSENAL is written around the rim of the full crest and rim text is the first to become unreadable at this size. The bare cannon will not lose the letters, so it will remain legible anywhere.
Kit dimensions and file format
The PNG image is 512×512 pixels and less than 1 MB.
The game is stretched to fit smaller images on the player model, and typically rejects anything bigger, which is where soft edges and blurred patterns are derived from. A kit should not be transparent, as a badge file should be, the template should have solid colours in each region that it maps.
Importing an Arsenal kit
Copy the link to the kit (where the site has a copy button). The most common reason for nothing happening when you paste is that you’re pulling the address out of your browser’s location bar, instead of the image.
Open My Club then Customise in the game. Select Pick Kit, select the slot you wish to change, hold down the URL box, paste and confirm. If it is a successful download, it will return the message “Image successfully downloaded”.
The four runs are required to complete a set of slots, each of which is independent. The final step of the game is labeled Download, not Custom Kit, in older versions of the game.

Where Arsenal kit files go wrong
Almost all failures are due to four factors.
The link is not an image
A usable URL is one that has a .png or .jpg extension. If not, there’s no game to get. Tap and hold on the image and select Copy image address instead of Copy link address.
The template is not matched
This is most noticeable on the away kit as it crosses the panels in a zig zag pattern and any misalignment will be obvious.
The file is too small to be displayed
Both the home shirt’s two-tone red texture and the third kit’s lightning graphic are subtle and both fade away below 512 pixels.
This link is no longer active
Free image hosts delete files and enable hotlink protection, so that the URLs you post in the days after a kit launch will not work in a matter of months.
Checking whether a file is this season’s
There are numerous Arsenal kit files around, some of which are two or three seasons old, and some websites haven’t updated their pages since.
Check the away team’s shirt colour. Navy means 2026/27. The original or an early revival is a yellow Bruised Banana.
Examine the house collar. This season’s is a crewneck with a wave pattern inspired by the roof of the stadium. A plain collar or V-neck is for another year.
Examine the third kit’s chest. If it has the full circular crest (not the separate cannon) it is not this season’s shirt.
And look at the away shirt for which Adidas logo is on it. The 2026/27 version is based on the Trefoil and not the three bar performance mark.
Do not leave the goalkeeper on default
The goalkeeper kit is not in the same slot as the three outfield shirts and is the one that most people don’t think of when talking about Dream League Soccer.
When they are on the team screen, all four are there, making it clear that a stock keeper is next to three custom kits. Place it at the same time.
